Parking

People driving into Newport to enjoy the parade and festival have several parking options; there is some side-street parking, a lot next to the post office, and a lot across the street from Gardner Park.

Vehicles participating in the parade should go straight to Built By Newport, and after the parade, pull all the way through Gardner Park to the lot on the other side.

People walking in the parade are asked to park in the lot next to the Municipal Building. If that lot runs out of space, there is also a lower lot just down the street. If the walk from either of these lots would be difficult for you, please bring your vehicle directly to the Built By Newport lot and we’ll get it sorted out from there.

Vendors, entertainers, volunteers, and staff will be parking in the lot in Gardner Park once they’re done unloading their vehicles.
